Sertoma strives to ensure that our players are not only safe, but are also taught to be better football players, better students, and better people.  We encourage a competitive, safe, and fair environment that focuses on teaching children.  It is for these reasons that we have implemented coaching programs, selection processes, and evaluation systems for our coaches.  In order to become a coach for Sertoma, certain criteria must be met on an annual basis.  This criteria includes but is not limited to:
 We understand that these requirements may be a much more than most youth organizations require....we also believe that OUR kids are worth it!
As in past years, our program will be based on the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) rules, with additions made by the Sertoma football commission and shared with league coaches and officials.
